Rock For Jennifer – Logo in conjunction with Vicky Hamilton

Back in February, Vicky messaged me and asked if I could take on a project that was quite personal and close to her. Just a few weeks prior, one of her closest friends and supporters, Jennifer Perry, had suddenly passed away. After some much-needed time for reflection, Vicky decided that the most fitting way to celebrate not only their friendship but also her dedication to the music scene over the years, was going to be a rock n roll extravaganza, right back where it all started – The iconic Troubadour in West Hollywood.

Vicky needed a fitting logo, and as I read the message, I could (sort of) see in my mind’s eye an image appearing. Knowing Vicky for a good while now, and knowing enough about Jennifer and her work over the years, was fuel for the image to form almost immediately. After some brief sketches, some lovely chats a few days later, the image was finalised and born.

I’m really very proud of this piece.
